The OK Club would like to wish you a Merry Christmas!

For 2010 we have 4 cards - designed at Club – available for order*!

Because you will be sending these cards to your friends and family we want to make it ‘yours’.

Therefore, an order form will allow you to choose the inside quote, black & white or colour

option and whether or not to include the caption (for drawing 1 only: ‘Is there room in our hearts for Him this Christmas?’).

Varied role for fundraiser with proven track record

- Trust, Donor & Corporate fundraising: Christian, children & youth work
- Budget, Accounts, Petty Cash, Liaison with Treasurer, Annual Returns
- Secretariat and Office Administration including Coordinating volunteers
- Communications eg Annual Reports, Prayer Letters, Posters & Website
- IcT, Insurance, Security, and Health & Safety oversight responsibilities
- Supervising cleaning/contractors, Maintenance including DIY if possible
- Opportunities to take part in Christian, Children’s & Youth Work, eg IcT

The successful candidate(s) will be committed to Christian ethos of Club and will demonstrate flexibility, attention to detail, patience & successful experience. CRB check needed.

SK Collective art exhibition

From 2nd – 6th September a group of young people from OK Club styled as ‘SK Collective’ are taking contemporary urban art and introducing it to Hampstead village via a four-day gallery exhibition at Burgh House. Click here for a map and details

Pieces on display will include canvas works employing methods and techniques learned from street art, and utilising paint-pens in addition to spray cans. There will also be a video displaying the creative process.

Portobello Film Festival (again!)

Following on from the screening of HeadBox at the Portobello Film Festival’s Film Maker’s Convention in March this year, it has been selected again for inclusion in the full festival taking place over 2 weeks. HeadBox will be screened on Sept 9^th, at 9pm, at Westbourne Studios. Full details on page 9 of the programme, which can be viewed here

Over the past 18 months we have been making a short film as part of our weekly video club session. The resulting film, ‘HeadBox’ has been accepted for a screening at the Portobello Film Festival’s Film Makers Convention. The screening will be on 31^st March at 6pm, at Inn On The Green.
